I was banned on 11th October 2010 from HLR 5 after playing a game at around 1220am GMT. During that game, I was unfortunate to have a really bad connection to the host probably as a result of a bad internet connection on my behalf. I tried to rectify the problem by positioning my character in the trees and then try to tunnel the host but to no avail. As a result, I had terrible lag during the game which made it unplayable for me personally. I believe that other users were faced with the player disconnecting screen since at one stage of the replay some players entered the -roll command, which has been a typical respond to the player disconnecting screen. As a result of the lag and high ping, I voluntarily made the decision to quit the game so that I would not hinder the enjoyment of the other players. At this stage, one of the players even agreed and requested that I leave. Therefore, I left the game. A couple of hours later, I found that I was banned from HLR 5.
I have played in HLR 5 for about half a year and I have conducted myself in the proper manner during this time. I feel that this is an unfair ban because while I did leave the game, I only did so because of the bad lag and unplayability of the game. Since I have never been banned before I feel that my good character should be taken into consideration.
I hope that the moderators would make a fair judgement on my behalf.

I am afraid that I don't have a screenshot. The replay does not show that I have the disconnect screen but the actions of the other players suggest otherwise. Also I believe the host was speaking in another language because my WarIII was unable to recognise what they were saying. Perhaps if the Moderators discovered what they said, it may help to vindicate me.

Any chance of a decision? Other cases around mine seem to have been resolved. Many thanks.

I would have reduced your ban period but since you have partially undergone the ban period (5 days out of 28) I'm to unban you now.
Try to fix any problem within your connection, because you can't leave every game you join just because you say you have lag.
