Yes , the ban is legit . if you reach 5 mins away from keyboard or idling in any stage of the game you can be banned.
In this case as it was early stage you haven't ruined disastrously the game and in turn your ban is a minor ban of five days.
I have no intention to reduce the ban period since it was your fault and one should be responsible of what he/she does.
